Professional Information

I have strong vocabulary and experience in legal, court, medical and travel fields. I am on Minnesota State's roster and have been interpreting in both State and Federal Courts since 2014 in all three modes: simultaneous interpreting, consecutive interpreting and sight translation. Because my language skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese are so good, the quality of my work keeps all parties satisfied. Besides Court, I have been interpreting for depositions, travel conference, school conference, medical appointments, immigration interviews and phone interviews. Customers are pleased with my quality work and I have repeat customers and customer referrals. I really enjoy my work.

Something You Should Know

I scored 4 out of 5 at SOSi’s interpreting skills assessment test. After I took SOSi DOJ EOIR’s intensive immigration training course, I received a good score of 90.57 on my final exam which is known for its difficulty including 4 simultaneous modules (3 of the 4 are at 160wpm speed), 2 consecutive modules and 2 sight translations.
