April Cedillo is a MN state certified Spanish interpreter. Ms. Cedillo is an experienced interpreter of depositions and arbitrations, and interprets in civil, criminal, and immigration courts . She holds a bachelors degree (Summa Cum Laude) in Spanish, and an academic professional certificate in Legal Translation and Court Interpreting. Ms. Cedillo is the owner and founder of Link Interpret, an interpreting agency based in Minneapolis and a certified woman-owned business (www.linkinterpret.com). Ms. Cedillo is a member of ATA, NAJIT, UMTIA, and was the communications chair on the board of directors of Lingua, a union- affiliated professional association of state court interpreters. She has interpreted at 10 Miss Universe pageants and contracted with them to provide the 21 person interpreting team led by Link Interpret in 2015 and again in 2016. She is a frequent presenter to the State Bar Association on how to effectively work with interpreters.
