Something You Should Know
With more than 20 years of professional experience, I specialize in high-stakes multilingual proceedings, including depositions, complex litigation, and technically demanding matters such as patent and engineering cases. I work in both Japanese–English and Spanish–English and am frequently called upon when proceedings involve multiple languages, technical subject matter, or heightened accuracy requirements. I am certified, registered, or licensed as a court interpreter in both Japanese and Spanish in multiple U.S. jurisdictions. In addition to courtroom and deposition work, I interpret for international conferences, media events, and public Q&A sessions, including appearances by film directors and creators at film and anime festivals. My focus is always on protecting the integrity of the record while ensuring meaningful language access for all participants. When required for a project, I am also prepared to pursue additional certifications or jurisdictional credentials.
