Qualified Court Interpreter, Telephonic & Video Interpreter Level 5 II (USCIS & FEMA) – Sinhala/ Sinhalese Language • Successfully completed and passed interpreter courses from the Southern California School of Interpretation (SCSI) • Qualified to interpret for U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and Executive office for Immigration Review (EOIR) • Qualified to interpret in simultaneous, consecutive and sight translations. • Experienced court interpretation, In-person, Video remote interpretation (VRI), and over the phone interpretation (OPI) • Fully trained to interpret simultaneously in 120/145/160 words per minute. • Qualified to interpret in the following key industries/ fields, i.e. Medical, Financial, Insurance, Education, Special Ed, Courts & Tribunals, Police and Government Agencies to include familiarity with terminology, procedures, and products in those industries. • Demonstrates superior proficiency in English and Sinhala/ Sinhalese language
