Nicolás Arízaga is an Ecuadorian American political translator and interpreter (Spanish-ES<>English-EN), specializing in political communication, rhetoric, international development, policy, and discourse analysis. Nicolás is the CEO of Political & Legal Translation in Denver, CO, and a Spanish Registered Court Interpreter for the Wyoming Supreme Court. He is a member of the Advocacy Committee of the American Translators Association (ATA) and is its Spanish Language Division's Podcast Editor. In addition to his language pair, he has studied French and Portuguese. He earned a bilingual bachelor’s degree in international studies from Universidad del Azuay in Ecuador and a bachelor’s and master’s degrees in political science from the University of Wyoming.
