I am a state certified court interpreter and a contract immigration-court interpreter who focuses on transparency and neutrality in the exercise of my profession. I have 10 years experience interpreting in legal settings, which include municipal, state, superior, and federal proceedings as well as depositions, mediation sessions, and attorney/client conferences. I have 5 years experience as an over-the-phone medical interpreter. I am passionate about facilitating communication through the seamless and accurate transfer of information between parties. Preserving and conveying every unit of meaning between languages is how we interpreters ensure that everyone in the room (or web platform) understands each other, which is essential to the fair practice of law and the safe practice of medicine. I am available for all types of video remote interpreting and over-the-phone interpreting work, particularly legal.
