Pre-Conference Workshops: On Friday, June 8, 2018, we will offer a selection of full and half-day workshops. These workshops have limited seating and are designed to be hands-on, skill-building sessions. Pre-conference registration is separate from the main conference registration fee.
Networking Events: This year NAJIT has added networking opportunities. Read details on our Conference Events web page found under the “Event Schedule” item on the menu to the right. Here you will find details on our Friday Welcome Event, Zumba, Annual Luncheon and Saturday Evening Reception. All of these events are included in the main conference registration fee. If you have someone traveling with you, you may purchase a guest ticket for the Annual Luncheon and Saturday Evening Reception.
Educational Program: Saturday and Sunday will be devoted to a slate of educational sessions geared specifically to interpreters, translators and those that work with them. The complete schedule will be posted in January.
Continuing education credits will be offered for a number of states and organizations. Last year the following states and organizations approved CEUs for the NAJIT conference: ATA, California, CCHI, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Idaho, IMIA, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin.
