Conference Checklist: Tips for Maximizing Your Experience 

The NAJIT 40th Annual Conference offers a variety of events where you can expand your network, connect with friends, or just have fun! Here are a few tips to make your experience a remarkable one:

  • Hotel Information

    View the hotel information page for driving instructions, taxi estimates, BART information, and parking at the hotel. Need a room? Call NAJIT, we are holding a few!

  • Conference Program

    View a preview of the conference program. Each attendee will receive a printed copy when they check-in at the conference registration desk.

  • Conference App

    Download the conference app. It is a practical way to have everything at your fingertips; create your personalized schedule, easily connect with colleagues, share feedback, and more! Click below for complete details.

  • What to wear

    The dress code for the conference is business casual. Some folks dress up for the Saturday reception. Bring a sweater as the conference rooms may be cold.

  • Conference Events

    Review the list of conference events that are included with a Main Conference registration.

  • Photographer

    Take advantage of the professional photographer at the conference. On Friday, from Noon-5 pm, go to the Washington A room to have your headshot taken for only $20. You will receive your photo via email after the conference. First come, first served.

  • Continuing Education Credit

    Review the continuing education packet for details on requesting a certificate of attendance. Use the conference app exclusively to track your sessions and you will be entered into a raffle. Click below for details.

  • Social Media

    Share your conference photo's on Twitter & Facebook. Hear about events as they unfold! #NAJIT2019

  • Download Session Handouts

    Use the Schedule icon in the conference app to download session handouts. A limited number of copies will be available for Saturday/Sunday sessions.

Who is the app available to?

The app is available to all registered attendees. You will receive an email from TripBuilder with your login information on May 8th. If you register after May 8th, you will receive an email within two business days or your registration.

If you do not receive an email from TripBuilder check your spam folder before contacting NAJIT.

What devices are supported?

You can use your laptop, desktop, mobile phone, or tablet. View a complete list of operating system compatibility here.

How do I get the app?

Enter keyword NAJIT in the Apple store. Search National Association of Judiciary Interpreters and Translators in the Google Play store. Or, go to www.tripbuildermedia.com/apps/NAJIT2019 in the web browser on your device. This link will automatically detect your device type and take you to the right place to download the app.

What can I do with the app?

  • Gallery: Upload your conference photo’s and view those of other attendees.
  • My Event: Create your personal schedule for the event. Add personal meetings too!
  • Session Tracking: Check-in to sessions. See sessions you’ve attended.
  • Event Schedule: See a high-level view of daily events.
  • Schedule: View all session descriptions, presenter bios, view and download handouts, submit session/presenter feedback, and contact the presenter.
  • Floor Plans: View the hotel room layout and the exhibitor map.
  • Social Feed: Easily connect with Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • FAQs: See answers to common questions.
  • Attendees: View the full list of attendees. Add them to your address book, call or email with one click!

  • Sponsors: Read about our conference sponsors, view their web page and contact them.
  • Exhibitors: Read about our conference exhibitors, locate their booth, schedule a meeting, view their web page and contact them.
