Florida | The Florida Court Interpreter Certification and Regulation Program has approved up to 20 Continuing Interpreter Education (CIE) credits for officially designated, or otherwise registered interpreters attending the 40th NAJIT Annual Conference (up to 16 credits for the current compliance cycle; a maximum of four credits in excess of the 16 may be carried over to the subsequent compliance cycle). Credit may be earned for both the pre-conference seminars and conference sessions. Credit will only be given for educational seminars and not for business sessions. Interpreters are responsible for maintaining proof of attendance, and will be required to list the course title, hours, and course date on a continuing education reporting form prior to registration renewal. In order to qualify for approval, the subject matter of the course must be relevant to court interpreting, the work of the courts, or the judicial branch; it must also qualify as an educational activity that an interpreter engages in after successfully requirements and becoming certified. | 20 Units Possible | |||
