Provide a short description of the session written in the 3rd person (no use of "you" or "I"). If you intend to present in a language other than English or require attendees to bring a listening device, PLEASE make note of it in your abstract. Use paragraph form. NOTE: Descriptions should be 250 words or less. PLEASE share enough detail about the session to help attendees fully understand what to expect when attending.

With the exception of panels, a maximum of two presenters are permitted per session. If you are proposing a panel, a maximum of five panelists (including the moderator) are permitted. NOTE: Only one microphone will be provided per conference room. We will have one room with A/V for panels that will provide two microphones (one handheld microphone for the moderator and one table or handheld microphone for the panelists).

If you would like to be eligible for a complimentary conference you must submit two separate proposals (a pre-conference workshop and a weekend session). If both sessions are selected for the program we will send you details for registering.

What A/V needs will your presentation have? NAJIT is happy to provide what you need for a successful presentation. NAJIT will provide a projector and ONE presenter microphone per training room. Presenters must bring their own laptop or tablet to connect to the projector. NAJIT Projectors offer VGA and HDMI connections.

Important Information

1. NAJIT is unable to provide interpreting/translation equipment. If you require equipment for your session please email NAJIT at hq@najit.org with any questions.
2. Handouts must be submitted by posted deadlines to be printed for the event. If they are submitted after the deadline the presenter is responsible for printing handouts and all costs associated.
3. Learning objectives, session descriptions and presenter bios will be proofread and may be edited prior to being printed in the conference program.
4. Main conference session presenters (Saturday and Sunday sessions) receive a 15% discount on conference registration. No other compensation is provided.
5. Presenters must bring their own computer to connect to the provided projector.
