Continuing Education

The two tables below detail CE credit NAJIT has received approval for. The first table explains what approval has been granted, including maximum credit hours. The second table shows the specific approvals for each session. Please use the search field to narrow your viewing options.

NAJIT currently seeks continuing education approval from the following states and organizations: American Translators Association (ATA), California (CIMCE), Certification Commission for Healthcare Interpreters (CCHI), Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Idaho, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID), Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Washington, and Wisconsin.

If you would like to request NAJIT seek approval from a state or organization not listed please contact us at info@najit.org.

NAJIT is currently in the process of seeking approval for continuing education credits. We are also working to determine which states and organizations will offer credit for watching session recordings after the live event. This will increase the number of continuing education credits available. The maximum that can be earned by attending two pre-conference workshops and the main conference is 16. You may earn up to 10 additional credits by watching session recordings. Please review the table below to determine if your state or organization will grant CE credit for viewing recordings in addition to attending the live event.

FloridaThe Florida Court Interpreter Certification and Regulation Program has approved NAJIT's Annual Conference Sessions for Continuing Interpreter Education credits. Credit will be given for participation in educational activities that are (1) relevant to the work of the courts, (2) enhances the individual participant's ability to perform his or her work as an interpreter, and (3) are otherwise in compliance with Florida policy requirements.

Please contact the Oregon Judicial Department’s Certification and Training Program for more details. Interpreters will need to provide proof of attendance, course description, and number of contact hours upon completion of the conference to Court Language Access Services.
